Cook Islands History

Historical information is kept in:

1. The Cook Islands Library and Museum Society Incorporated (opposite the University of South Pacific), which has one of the best collections of Pacific Islands manuscripts and books in the South Pacific, and very helpful and knowledgeable staff.

2. The Cook Islands National Archives in Takuvaine, which unfortunately has a very limited list of its documents and manuscripts.

3. The Cook Islands National Museum. The museum supplies copies of historical photographs. More information and price list at: www.culture.gov.ck
